We thought we were done with major medical expenses with Addie, but a few new things have popped up in the last couple of weeks--glasses for sure and the possibility of helmet therapy. Because of her low birth weight, she qualified for Social Security while she was in the NICU and then apparently had Medicaid her whole first year, although NO ONE told us until it expired. And then, it seemed like the hassle of getting it reinstated was bigger than the benefits. I hate having the government involved in our finances (more than the usual tax stuff), but if it allows us to get Addie the medical equipment she needs, I'll do it in a heartbeat. I'm filing this information away for "later"...:) This is good information, McKenna!
