But I came back because I wanted to let you know how excited I am for you and Darah. Does her face just light up when she recognizes a word and "cracks the code" of reading? I can tell you from my experience, one of the greatest joys of parenting in the "older kid" stage is watching my son learn to read. The light comes on, and he becomes so engrossed in learning more. It still makes me tear up sometimes. But I'm a sap. I saw this the other day and didn’t get to comment immediately.
