My mom used to paint my fingernails…so then I ate fingernail polish. Not recommended. Then we switched to putting band aides on my fingers, and I just looked like a clutz.

I, too, am a nail-biter, not because it’s a nervous habit, but because I have flimsy nails that peel and fray easily. It’s frustrating, and I’ve tried just about everything rto make them stronger. The only time they are NOT like that is when I’m pregnant, and I don’t take special pre-natal vitamins or anything. So many I should just stay pregnant eternally if I want to have great nails

I bit my nails until 6th grade when I realized my nails looked gross! I really wanted my nails to grow long and look nice so I just stopped. For me it was a nervous habit. My 4 year old bites her nails too. Honestly, unless it’s causing pain or she’s bleeding because of it, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Now you have one less thing to do!
