I was induced with my first because I was two weeks late and the doctor was very worried about the baby's size. He ended up being 9 pounds, 14 ounces!

I was then induced with my second on the due date so he wouldn't get as big as his brother did. He ended up being 9 pounds, 5 ounces!

Both deliveries were wonderful. Drugs, labor, contractions, and pushing all ran smoothly. Babies were big and beautiful. And I bonded with both of them almost immediately.

So my experiences were good. :)

Well after I talked to you when I was pregnant, you really made me think twice about being induced. I honestly didn't know and was just kind of going along with the doctor. Luckily, I had a natural labor experience two weeks before my due date. But I agree that if someone really wants to be informed about delivery, this is some great information. So even if you do get pitocin, you can be aware of how it will affect your body.

I've never been a fan of induction, so I whole-heartedly agree with you. Mom's, it's up to you to research everything. Doctors do NOT have your best interest (or your baby's) in mind and pitocin is a prime example of that.
