I use Huggies for my daughter. I tried all different types and they are the only one to keep her dry at night. But I am going green and starting her on the whole foods brand that is good the earth. They are still disposable but they flush down like toilet paper! I found out that disposable diapers are some out the biggest contributers to waste, Diapers take up 1% of America’s landfills and they take 500 years to decompose. I have been using them for about a month and they work just as good as her huggies did. SO I love them and I feel so much better that I am helping out the environment.

That is funny! You can always tell when I am typing with Ace in my lap. Or when I am trying to type one-handed. :)

I got a sample of one of those Whole Foods diapers. I haven’t tried it. I think Ace just grew into the size of the sample.

We use cloth diapers on Frida (our 9 month old) and we did with Joaquin (our first). People always get this shocked look when I tell them we use cloth but really its not hard at all. And talk about saving money!!! We spent about $200 up front but don’t have a monthly diaper cost! You can pass them down as you have more kids. And talk about friendly to the earth!

We use generic with our kids and they work fine for us now. When Darah was smaller, Huggies were the only things that worked for her little bum. She has such a flat little bottom and a buddha belly which make diapers hard to fit. Now it’s not too bad, but when she was smaller, it was a trick to put a diaper on her properly! I now prefer the generic for my daughter because they’re not as absorbent, so she is more aware of when she is wet….to help us get ready for potty training!

We use Costco Huggies, $37.99, and only have to buy a box every 4-5 weeks. And maybe now that Kara has moved into size 3 we might be able to make it 5-6 weeks. We just bought our first box so we will see soon how long it will last.

Mine aren’t in diapers anymore but when they were we always got ours at Sams for under $30.00 and they usually lasted for 4-5 weeks. Sams brand worked great on my kids.

I use whatever is cheapest. ha ha. I usually go for HEB and they work great with Jackson….or I use LUVS. LUVS comes out cheaper sometimes when I have coupons.

Jackson is not that sensitive though. Only ones I don’t like is “Parents Choice”. Jackson broke out.

I use cloth diapers and wipes for my little one :) I love it and we save so much money, and no more rash! Disposables are full of nasty chemicals. Making them is really hard on the environment and they take around 500 years to decompose. Every disposable diaper that has ever been used is still around~what a scary thought. I used to spend about $50 a month for disposable diapers and wipes.
